I'm here to teach you to write and produce your own music because I believe anyone can make music; you just need the right teacher and some practice.
I've been working really hard to make this channel worth visiting and I appreciate you stopping by. Stay a while, would ya?

This Simple Songwriting Formula Will Make You Write Better Songs In 20 Minutes
Something just started clicking at 13:50 for me. I will be saving this video to rewatch. =)
thanks once again for the stream and also for the tips man, improving as a producer while having nobody around you who makes music is so tough, this really means and helps alot 🔥
You are amazing!!!
This video is very helpful.Do you have a course that I could buy to learn tech house?
Great-sounding stuff man, I love this format of you just making music and explaining why and how everything comes together. Love your vibe, keep this up!
The entire window management of Logic is it's weakest point in my opinion. I have used it for a while a long time ago. But it never clicked. It didn't get natural at all with me. But in general I have certain experiences with apple software, don't get me wrong I love apple and mac os. But it's user interface design in some applications can be a bit too basic imo. And by trying to make things more minimalistic they overshoot things into pretending to be something the software really isn't. As with Logic; It treats you with a smile aimed at amateurs. And right after that it put's you on the edge of a pooljump and and says 'there you go buddy, you can do it!'. There never was a learning curve for me. Which Ableton after years and years can still provide, not only in terms of GUI but also in feeding the creative proces. Never ever experienced anything like that in Logic (or Final cut).
Informative, inspirational, and funny. I await more videos.
Thank you! More to come!
Very nice stream , i hope next only use stock plug i dont have vst but keep goin 👍👍👍
ill keep that in mind!
Very appreciated
Man, what a session! Can't wait for the next one
I have a question: When I´m playing the Chord Progression Cminor 1, 5, 6, 4. Then 1 should be Cmajor according to your list. But I´m playing in Cminor. Also the 5th note G should be major but I have to play Gminor because B is not in the Cminor scale (according to your list the 5th note is always major). Now I´m confused :)
So happy to see you😊
wait are you the drummer of FMLYBND ?!
i was when we were around! haha
So would it mean that c is and f in the a minor scale are halfsteps? Caus I struggle to understand
Duuuude, great first livestream! You got through the first couple of challenges and put together a pretty dang smooth session (in ableton and youtube!) 👍
woo!!

it's edm and I get it, but how do I produce rock, because rock varies so much and layers of instruments vary too, and I have fl and ableton suite
Didn't watch live because of the time zone, the output from your computer is higher than the mic for vox
yes! i tried to adjust mid stream
Awesome video thanks
Thank you so much for the stream! I couldn't make it when you were live (different time zone) but watching you build a track in real time is incredibly valuable.
Glad you enjoy it!
add a riser!
Thank you. This is perfect
You're a God sent. Clearly the single best music production video I've ever come across. Thank you so much! Really grateful. (From India)
To say that I was blown away by that demo is and understatement. Great video.
I'm use to composing my own melody first then drums after.
I love a good minor 4 💀💀💀
Awesome
Song sounds like St Patrick Day by John Mayer lol
what´s the name of the song from bon iver?
Do you ever offer one on one coaching if someone wants to study reproducing specific songs?
You are Superfantastic 😮🎉 Ty
Wow amazing!! Thank you for explaining this!! I’ve always skipped music theory videos but this one was much easier to understand for me 🙏🏼
OOHHHH MAN ! YOU ARE AMAZING , YOU SAVED MY LIFE
Thanks Ethan!!
Ethan, I am so grateful you were like a life saver for me. I graduted in music pro but nothing is compared to your way of teaching. I am a singer/songwriter that I always get stuck on the prodcution side even knowing how to produce. You made my life easier now
It has been 15 years since I last played the piano. I was self-taught, knew the basics and was teaching myself to read music. but circumstances did not allow me to continue my 3-year adventure. now I am in my 30's all I think is music and my passion is still there. This video has reminded me so much and I am ready to go and produce and play my favourite songs. Thank you.
plenty of outboard gear can replicate that effect real-time for live; TC Helicon has gear just for that. Great video
Where can I listen to this exact song that you've made?
did you get more women after you learned ableton? You said it changed your life for the better. So I want to know that aspect
16:55 currently watching close to midnight and did not expect that in a music production tutorial
If you really wanna speed up your workflow just learn all the shortcuts. So you’re not even looking down at the keys to navigate. Saves so much time! Happy music making!
Wow I learned SO MUCH by just watching this 26 min video. THANK YOU
As an ameteur drummer and keyboard player, watching people, "Sample," my whole deal makes me feel cheated... lol
This is exactly what I need right now. Thank you, Ethan!
very high quality video, thanks alot 😎
Great job! Thx a lot!
I have some millions streams producing lofi and still had some nice insights! Amazing video
Wise words
Best tutorial video I've ever seen.
